Infor needed a seamless way to exchange shipment and order data between its Infor XA ERP and shipping systems to support rate shopping at order entry, instant shipment visibility and accurate shipping costs for invoicing. Varsity Logistics delivered the Infor XA Interface to connect Infor XA with its ShipSoft (Parcel and Freight) and ShipPack solutions.

Varsity Logistics implemented the interface on the System i platform using a flexible P‑List mapping to pull pick, order and release data from Infor XA and return tracking numbers, package IDs, weights and freight charges. The result is automated (or user‑visible) order processing, instant status and proof‑of‑delivery visibility, streamlined rate selection and accurate shipping charges for invoicing and analysis, with ongoing compatibility maintained as a Certified Infor Partner.
