Infor needed a seamless way to exchange shipment and order data between Infor System21/System21 Style and its shipping operations to enable rate shopping at order entry, instant shipment visibility and proof of delivery, and accurate shipping costs for invoicing and analysis. To address this, Infor engaged Varsity Logistics and used Varsity’s Infor System21 Interface together with ShipSoft and ShipPack to connect order entry through delivery.

Varsity Logistics mapped key System21 files (ORDHDOR, CUSCODES, PARTS and others) to ShipSoft/ShipPack, pulling pick numbers, quantities and ship‑to addresses and returning tracking numbers, package IDs, weights and freight charges back into System21. The result was invisible, on‑demand order processing on the IBM System i platform that delivered real‑time rate shopping and shipment status, reliable freight costing for invoicing and analysis, and a jointly maintained, future‑ready integration.
