Infor needed a reliable way to exchange shipment and order data between its Infor BPCS ERP and third‑party shipping systems to support end‑to‑end order processing, rate shopping and accurate invoicing. Varsity Logistics provided and maintains the Infor BPCS Interface that integrates BPCS with Varsity’s ShipSoft and ShipPack products to enable seamless data flow from order entry through delivery.

Varsity Logistics implemented a flexible, P‑List–driven interface that reads core BPCS files (ECHL01, ECLL01, IPPL14, LSHL01), invokes ShipSoft/ShipPack for rating and shipment processing, and returns tracking numbers, package IDs, weights and freight charges to BPCS. The solution — available in invisible or visible modes and running on IBM System i for superior speed and reliability — delivered real‑time shipment visibility, rate shopping at order entry, simplified proof‑of‑delivery requests and accurate shipping costs for invoicing and analysis.
