Infor needed a reliable way to exchange shipment and order data between its Infor A+ ERP and shipping systems to enable rate shopping at order entry, real‑time shipment visibility, and accurate shipping costs for invoicing and analysis. Varsity Logistics provided and maintains the Infor Application Plus™ (A+) Interface to connect Infor A+ with Varsity’s ShipSoft and ShipPack solutions.

Varsity Logistics implemented a flexible P‑List–driven interface that maps Infor A+ files (ORHED, OHCADC, OHTMCD, ORDET), pulls pick numbers, quantities and ship‑to addresses, calls ShipSoft/ShipPack to rate, create and manage shipments, and returns tracking numbers, package IDs, weights and freight charges to Infor A+. The result is streamlined order‑to‑delivery processing with instant shipment status and proof‑of‑delivery visibility, accurate shipping charges for invoicing and analysis, and high performance and reliability from the System i–based integration.
