HarrisData needed a reliable way to exchange shipment and order data between its ERP and a shipping system to support rate shopping at order entry, shipment visibility, proof-of-delivery requests, and accurate shipping costs for invoicing and analysis. Varsity Logistics delivered this capability using its HarrisData Interface together with ShipSoft™, integrating directly with HarrisData ERP files to automate order-to-delivery workflows.

Varsity Logistics implemented the HarrisData Interface (using a P‑List to map OEORHD, OECMWK, HDDSHP, HDCUST and HDLCTN) to push pick and order data into ShipSoft and return tracking numbers, package IDs, weights and freight charges to HarrisData. The solution supports invisible or visible processing, runs on the IBM System i for high speed and reliability, and produced measurable improvements: faster order-to-shipment processing, immediate shipment status and POD access, and accurate shipping charges for invoicing and analysis.
