Friedman Corporation needed to streamline order-to-shipment processing and ensure shipment and order data flowed seamlessly between their Friedman Frontier ERP and shipping tools. Varsity Logistics delivered the Friedman Frontier® Interface and integrated ShipSoft-Parcel, ShipSoft-Freight, ShipPack and ShipSelect to enable rate-shopping at order entry, instant shipment-status visibility, simplified proof-of-delivery retrieval, and accurate shipping costs for invoicing and analysis.

Varsity Logistics implemented a System i–based integration that reads Friedman Frontier files (OHP, O2P, O4P, O6P), pulls pick numbers, quantities and ship-to addresses, processes shipments via ShipSoft, and writes back tracking numbers, package IDs, weights and freight charges. The solution produced faster, more reliable order processing with real-time shipment visibility, simplified POD requests, and precise shipping-cost capture for invoicing and reporting, while supporting flexible visible or invisible workflows and ongoing Frontier version compatibility.
