Case Study: Inzpire achieves highly realistic UAV training with Varjo mixed reality

A Varjo Case Study

Preview of the Inzpire Case Study

How Inzpire Leverages Varjo for Next-Gen UAV Training

Inzpire, a UK-based defense training provider, needed a more realistic and deployable way to train UAV operators for increasingly complex aerial surveillance and reconnaissance missions. To meet that challenge, Inzpire turned to Varjo and its XR-4 mixed reality headset to support its compact CASE synthetic environment system for immersive drone training.

With Varjo’s XR-4, Inzpire created a mixed reality training setup that blends live passthrough video with virtual battlespace simulation, letting trainees use real ground control station equipment, practice mission planning and emergency procedures, and improve payload management and situational awareness. The result is a highly believable, operationally valid training experience that can be deployed at the point of need in the field or classroom, helping crews train anywhere in the world without returning home.
