Waukee CSD Gets Closer to Becoming a Cashless, Paperless District

Waukee Community School District, a fast-growing Iowa district with around 11,500 students, needed a better way to handle school payments and reduce paperwork. The district was spending too much time collecting cash and checks, processing forms, and communicating with parents through paper-based methods, so it turned to Vanco’s RevTrak Web Store for a more efficient, self-service option for families.

Vanco implemented the RevTrak Web Store to move fees online for registration, lunch balances, athletics, transportation, and other district payments, while also helping the district shift parent communications online. As a result, Waukee Community School District became nearly paperless, reduced bad checks, improved internal control, and saved significant staff time by eliminating hours of manual payment processing and paperwork.
