PDS and Vanco Simplify Giving and Reconciliation

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Austin, Texas, needed a simpler way to manage online giving and reconcile donations as its parish grew and more families moved to electronic payments. The church had been using Vanco’s eGiving solution for years, but initially the team still had to manually enter and match donations in PDS, which took time away from other parish duties.

By turning on Vanco’s reconciliation functionality integrated with Parish Data Systems (PDS), the church automated matching donations to parishioners with just a date range and a click. Vanco helped eliminate hundreds of manual entries each week, and the church reported that nearly one-third of its 1,500 registered families use eGiving, with online and credit card giving making up 25% to 40% of weekly collections.
