Case Study: Eanes ISD achieves nearly cashless cafeteria payments with Vanco RevTrak and Skyward

Healthy habits and a nearly cashless cafeteria are on the menu at this Austin district

Eanes ISD, a Texas district serving more than 8,000 students, wanted to reduce the time cafeteria staff spent handling cash and checks while also improving meal account management. Vanco’s RevTrak online payment processing, integrated with Skyward Family Access and the Skyward Food Services module, gave the district a way to modernize lunchtime payments and support its Child Nutrition team.

With Vanco’s RevTrak and Skyward solution, Eanes ISD moved nearly all lunch account payments online, with 99% now made digitally and only about 1% paid by cash or check. The district also drove stronger financial results, including 90% higher revenue in the second year, 50% higher revenue in the third year, and another 50% increase in the fourth year, while keeping total negative balances across all student accounts below $600.
