TAB Bank Leverages Open APIs to Offer Banking as a Service

TAB Bank, a U.S.-based online financial services company serving small and medium-sized businesses, wanted to accelerate digital transformation, modernize its infrastructure, and become a partner of choice for FinTechs. To support its open banking strategy and consumption-driven access to core systems, TAB Bank worked with ValueMomentum and chose MuleSoft as its integration platform, using open APIs to build a core-agnostic banking foundation.

ValueMomentum helped TAB Bank design and implement an Open API architecture with MuleSoft, including developer portal capabilities, CI/CD, and Runtime Fabric deployment. The solution exposed core data for customers, accounts, transactions, payments, and cards, and enabled a personalized developer portal to drive partner adoption. The result was a stronger middleware platform, faster development of new services, and a foundation for new revenue streams through banking-as-a-service and ecosystem partnerships.
