Acuity Automates Customer Correspondence by Implementing a Modern CCM Platform

Acuity Insurance, a U.S.-based mutual insurer serving consumers and businesses across 28 states, needed to replace outdated legacy document technologies like XICS and Microsoft Word that were driving manual, error-prone form creation and compliance concerns. To centralize forms and support personalized, multi-channel customer communications, Acuity partnered with ValueMomentum to implement the OpenText Exstream CCM platform.

ValueMomentum helped Acuity deploy an enterprise-wide OpenText Exstream solution, integrated with home-grown applications and the existing forms portal, across a 36-month, three-phase project that converted more than 7,000 forms. The results included rationalizing around 28% of total forms, removing 15% as redundant, reducing form maintenance resources by 65%, and saving significant time and effort, including 1,250 business and IT hours in 2017 and projected savings of 9,000 IT hours and 70,000 business user hours by 2022.
