Electrolux reaches 300 million people with Valtech's Gen Z sustainability campaign

Electrolux, a global home appliance manufacturer, wanted to market its ambitious goal of eliminating company-wide carbon emissions by 2050 to a younger audience. The challenge was to effectively engage Generation Z, a demographic with distinct values that requires a different marketing approach. Electrolux partnered with Valtech to create a campaign using their Marketing Creativity & Performance offering.

Valtech developed a multi-faceted campaign that invited Gen Z into a conversation rather than just speaking at them. The solution included an open letter from Electrolux's CEO, collaborative sessions with young change-makers, and a comprehensive campaign activated across 11 countries with strategic media partnerships. As a result, the "Better Living in 2030" campaign earned a reach of over 300 million per phase and the campaign video was viewed more than 34 million times, performing well above all target metrics.
