Valomnia partnered with Orange UK to deliver a cloud backup solution for Android phones distributed by Orange. Orange needed a secure, transparent way for customers to save personal data to the cloud, recover it to a replacement device after a phone loss, and ensure data on the lost phone could be removed, with strong user authentication.

Valomnia implemented the solution by integrating a cloud service into Orange’s Android devices, adding facial‑recognition authentication, updating the OS file system for transparent backup operations, and exposing an API to access the SIM for recovery/deletion flows. The deployment gives Orange customers seamless data restore to new phones and automatic deletion from lost devices, improving data protection and simplifying the recovery experience.
