Valo provides a social intranet on O365

Horst aan de Maas, a Dutch regional government municipality with about 300 town-hall staff, needed to replace an outdated one-way intranet with a modern, social platform that integrated with Office 365 and supported two-way communication and mobile access. They selected Valo, implementing the Valo Classic out-of-the-box social intranet (with implementation support from Valo’s Premium Partner, c)solutions) to meet those needs.

Valo delivered the new intranet—branded “Goeiedag”—on Office 365, providing a mobile-responsive platform and Android/iOS apps, templated team/project spaces, and a single, user-friendly place for files and documents. The Valo solution made communication two-way, increased staff engagement and collaboration, enabled document access from anywhere, and is now used by the municipality’s ~300 employees, with plans to open publishing to all staff.
