OCI Nitrogen Building future-proof intranet on top of Office 365

OCI Nitrogen, a Netherlands-based fertilizer and melamine producer of about 550 employees, needed to carve out from DSM and outsource its ICT into a stand-alone, future-proof cloud environment while minimizing supplier dependence and improving mobile adoption among younger workers. To address Office 365’s user-interface limitations and support a staged cloud transition, OCI Nitrogen selected Valo’s cloud-based Valo Intranet on top of Office 365 (implemented with partner Advantive) as its standardized intranet solution.

Valo delivered a fully integrated, brandable Valo Intranet and mobile app on Office 365, with Advantive supporting design and document migration; the intuitive platform improved accessibility to Office 365, enabled phased adoption across office and plant users, and allowed OCI Nitrogen to disconnect from DSM into a self-directed ICT environment. Valo’s solution accelerated the cloud transition, increased mobile reach to younger employees, streamlined collaboration and content migration for ~550 users, and supported outsourcing of SharePoint management while reducing supplier lock-in.
