NSW Department of Education’s stem.T4L Learning Library Valo Easily Customised For Online STEM Education

The NSW Department of Education needed a simple, scalable online community to help teachers and students get the most from limited STEM “learning kits” and to improve collaboration across the state. They selected Valo’s Modern Intranet to build stem.T4L, a public online STEM community and learning library that would let teachers share resources, create learning challenges and engage students remotely.

Built on Valo’s Modern Intranet with one‑click site/page templates, Mega Menu, Universal Web Parts and integrated analytics, stem.T4L lets teachers pin resources to personal boards, share via links or QR codes, and create ready‑to‑use learning challenges while students access materials from anywhere. Since launching in early 2019, the platform has been accessed by the majority of the over 70,000 teachers and many of the 250,000 students in NSW (serving more than 320,000 users overall), improved content discovery and engagement, and earned Valo Customization of the Year 2019 and Step Two’s Intranet & Digital Workplace of the Year Gold 2020 awards.
