Monetra, a Finnish municipally owned accounting and administration company with 450 employees across five cities, faced a reorganization after two organizations merged and needed a single, cloud-based intranet and an extranet for customers to replace two incompatible systems. Seeking a simple intranet-in-a-box on SharePoint, Monetra selected Valo and its Valo Intranet (with Valo Workspace used during the project) to support internal communication and employee belonging.

Valo implemented a SharePoint-based intranet and customer extranet that created a more interactive, two-way internal communication channel and a unified customer portal. As a result, Monetra saw a reduced volume of internal emails, improved sense of belonging for employees outside headquarters, more consistent customer communications, and on-time delivery and smooth post-launch support from Valo.
