Murdoch University in Perth needed to replace an IT‑dependent, email‑heavy staff portal and outdated CMS with a modern, future‑ready internal communications platform. Valo and Insight used an agile approach (Beta testing, Valo Ideas for feedback, integrated search and Valo Teamwork) to deliver a responsive intranet in 12 weeks. The Valo deployment doubled the publication of news, events and announcements within four months, now averaging 30–40 events and 70–90 news items per month, enabled rapid COVID‑19 communications, increased staff engagement and satisfaction, and allowed Murdoch University to retire four legacy platforms.
