Helsinki Business College goes Valo

Helsinki Business School, a private vocational college in Finland, struggled with an outdated intranet that staff did not actively use and needed modern tools for collaboration and information sharing. In 2016 they partnered with Valo to deploy Valo Intranet to refresh their digital workplace and better support varied user skill levels.

Valo delivered a bright, user-focused intranet with workspaces, Yammer integration, simultaneous document editing, shared task lists and easier memo sharing. The Valo solution replaced mailing lists with organization-wide Yammer conversations, made meeting documents and collaboration quicker and easier to find, and drove broader adoption across the organization—including positive uptake from the executive team.
