The City Council of Vantaa needed a modern intranet to move into the digital age, centralize existing cloud services and improve internal communication because many staff hadn’t discovered or were not using Office 365 tools effectively. They selected Valo and its Valo Intranet to integrate with their existing O365 environment and make information sharing and tool discovery more intuitive.

Valo, with implementation support from parent company Blue Meteorite, deployed Valo Intranet and launched it in January 2019—fully operational within three months—creating a user-friendly hub that brought O365 tools to the forefront, delivered tailored news by user ID, and added a powerful cloud-wide search. The City Council of Vantaa reports transformed internal communications, easier publishing, faster and more precise search across their large cloud, and broadly positive staff feedback.
