Alva Quick To Deploy Intranet-in-a-box on SharePoint Key for Supporting Company Rebrand

Alva, a Finnish energy and water services company with under 250 employees, needed a fast, SharePoint-based intranet to support a company-wide rebrand and improve internal communications and information management. Their on‑premises custom intranet no longer met changing requirements, and Alva was transitioning to M‑Files for document management, so they selected Valo and its Valo Intranet solution to stay in the Microsoft ecosystem and meet the tight deadline.

Valo deployed the cloud-based Valo Intranet (and later Valo Teamwork) so Alva could launch the new branded intranet, Alvari, on the same morning as the rebrand, integrate with M‑Files, and provide mobile access for remote staff. The result: the communications team now publishes more content than ever without IT support, employee engagement has increased via likes and comments, documents are easier to manage via links to M‑Files, and overall accessibility and internal communications have markedly improved thanks to Valo.
