A Modern Intranet Built On SharePoint For Mexican Oils Manufacturing Company

Ragasa Industrias, a Monterrey-based edible oils manufacturer with about 800 employees across nine locations, faced a decade-old, non‑SharePoint intranet that made publishing difficult and offered limited employee services. To centralize communication and move to the cloud on Microsoft 365, Ragasa Industrias selected Valo and its Valo Intranet product as the replacement platform.

Valo, working with partner Latinshare, delivered a SharePoint‑integrated Valo Intranet that was configured, branded and rolled out in four weeks with two additional weeks for custom development (six weeks total). The new platform — including Social, People Finder and a customizable news carousel for TV screens — proved simple to set up and update, made content uploading easy for users, was cost‑effective (leaving budget for the launch) and earned strong internal approval from HR and the project team.
