Velvet CARE boosts tissue capacity by 40% with Valmet

Velvet CARE, one of the largest producers of paper hygiene products in Poland and Central Europe, needed to increase its production capacity with a new tissue line that met high environmental and quality standards. To meet this challenge, they again partnered with vendor Valmet for an Advantage DCT 200 tissue machine equipped with Valmet automation and Advantage ViscoNip press technology.

The solution implemented by Valmet was the startup of the customer's third Advantage DCT line. The machine produced good quality paper from the very beginning and is noted for its high productivity with low utility consumption. The project was completed on time and within budget. Once fully operational, the new line is expected to increase Velvet CARE's total production capacity by 40%, resulting in an annual output of more than 210,000 tonnes.
