Siam Kraft extends coater roll cover life to over 8 months with Valmet

The customer, Siam Kraft Industry, faced a challenge with the durability of their coater roll covers at their Wangsala Mill. The traditional rubber covers were wearing out too quickly, especially on the edges, due to the use of hard-coated coater blades. Valmet provided the solution by upgrading the cover to a highly wear-resistant polyurethane product.
