PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper signs 3-year TwinRoll Repair Agreement with Valmet

PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper sought to maintain high production and availability at their Kerinci Pulp Mill by ensuring their 35 TwinRoll Presses remained operational and to avoid shutdowns. They partnered with vendor Valmet for a customized TwinRoll Repair Agreement to address this challenge.

Valmet implemented a comprehensive three-year repair agreement that included expedited repairs, an on-site emergency backup roll, and a local inventory of critical spares to reduce lead time. This solution was supported by Valmet's local technology center in Indonesia. The results aimed for improved cost efficiency and high levels of production by ensuring the rolls' availability, a goal the customer was confident would be achieved through the joint partnership with Valmet.
