Moorim Paper extends sizer roll running time from 4 to 16+ weeks with Valmet

Moorim Paper, a paper producer operating the Jinju mill in South Korea, faced a challenge with the sizer rolls on its PM1 paper machine. To address this, Moorim Paper partnered with vendor Valmet and upgraded to their Valmet Sizer Roll Cover CF product.

By implementing Valmet's polyurethane-based sizer roll cover, the solution delivered significant results. Valmet's upgrade extended the sizer roll's running time from approximately four weeks to over sixteen weeks, completely eliminating roll cover damage during operation. This improved durability enhanced sizer stability and contributed to a consistently improved end-product quality for the customer.
