JK Paper Limited, a leading Indian printing paper and coated board manufacturer, sought to invest in a new coated board making line to produce high-quality, innovative products and gain a competitive edge. Vendor Valmet was selected to deliver a comprehensive solution for their new BM 5 machine at the Songadh mill.

Valmet delivered a complete board machine from headbox to reel, featuring an advanced press section and four coating stations, including India's first curtain coater. The solution also included automation, a service agreement, and a fiber line. Despite pandemic-related challenges, the collaboration was successful.
