Arauco starts up Valmet analyzer remotely in 3 days

The customer, Arauco, faced the challenge of performing the remote startup of a new Valmet Fiberline Analyzer and Filtrate Samplers at their Puerto Esperanza pulp plant amidst pandemic travel restrictions. This was a significant hurdle as it was the first time a Valmet analyzer startup had ever been attempted remotely.

Valmet executed the solution through meticulous advance planning and by fostering a great partnership with the customer. This remote support included calibrations and setup, leading to a successful installation and startup in just three days. The new Valmet analyzer achieved an excellent correlation to lab analysis and performed much better than the old equipment, significantly reducing result oscillations and variations.
