OHB LuxSpace worked with Valispace to address a common engineering challenge: starting each new project from scratch, losing information between projects, and wasting time on repeated tasks, documentation, and configuration work. The team wanted a better way to capture lessons learned and reuse common core designs across missions and collaborators.

Valispace, now part of Altium and called Requirements Portal, provided a browser-based, cloud-based environment for reusable models, digital twins, and parameterised designs. This helped OHB LuxSpace define reusable processes, manage customer needs earlier, and extend hardware and processes for specific missions, improving consistency, traceability, and the ability to reuse knowledge across future projects.
