Nova Ljubljanska Banka completes 100 data mapping templates with Validata Software

Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), the largest banking and financial group in Slovenia, faced a significant challenge following its merger with N Banka. The bank needed to execute several complex data migrations between various homegrown and legacy systems to create one coherent IT platform. To address this, NLB selected Validata Software and its Validata ConnectIQ platform after an extensive Proof of Concept and RFP process where Validata outperformed the competition.

Validata Software implemented its ConnectIQ platform to handle data modelling, validation, and transformation with over 80 data mappings, loading normalized data into multiple target systems including Temenos Transact. The solution also provided a comprehensive financial reconciliation strategy. Validata delivered the project on time and on budget, providing a clear view of the data to be migrated, streamlining the process with a built runbook, and generating hundreds of custom reconciliation reports for field-to-field and checksum comparisons.
