The Sea Chefs Group, a leading cruise industry service provider headquartered in Switzerland, needed a flexible way to manage the supply chain and purchase orders for more than 50 ocean-going and river cruise vessels operating worldwide. With itineraries constantly changing and suppliers spread across different countries, the company needed a centralized, adaptable procurement process. Valiantys designed and delivered a flexible procurement platform using Jira, REST API integrations, and Atlassian Marketplace apps to automate purchase order handling, vendor communication, validation, document generation, and reporting. The result was full transparency and a scalable process that supports fast growth, with measurable impact including around 200 orders sent automatically to Jira per day, 20–30 supplier comments per day, and about 600 documents generated automatically each day.
