Société Générale Bank & Trust expands its Jira platform to test management and switches to agile testing

Société Générale Bank & Trust, the Luxembourg subsidiary of Société Générale Group, needed a better way to manage testing as its Agile development practices expanded. Its teams were using a mix of Micro Focus Quality Center and Excel, which made test tracking inconsistent, limited requirement coverage visibility, and created extra manual work. Valiantys helped the bank build on its existing Jira Software investment and add Xray for test management.

With Valiantys’ support, Société Générale Bank & Trust unified user stories, tests, and defects in Jira/Xray, improving traceability, reporting, and alignment with Agile processes. The bank gradually replaced legacy tools, reached nearly 11 new test projects and 1,877 Xray tickets after one year of production, and reduced duplication and integration effort while also lowering costs.
