A Valantic Case Study
LIEBHERR-Hausgeräte, a division of the LIEBHERR Group, sought a future-proof and scalable software architecture to support its international expansion and growing product range. Their challenge was to overhaul their online store platform to better serve both B2C and B2B customers, requiring a flexible, headless commerce solution. They partnered with valantic to implement this new architecture based on Adobe's Composable Commerce.
The solution implemented by valantic involved building a headless commerce system using Adobe Commerce (Magento) as the backend. Key elements included a separate React application for checkout, integration of the Unzer payment provider, and the inclusion of a customized "MyStyle" 3D product configurator. The new platform launched first in Austria in September 2023, with plans for a wider international rollout. This provided LIEBHERR with a scalable, future-proof foundation offering enhanced performance and a seamless user experience.
