Hero streamlines sales advisor orders in 3 steps with Valantic

Valantic was engaged by Hero, a Swiss food manufacturer established in 1886, to enhance the sales process for its advisors. The challenge was to modernize the tools used during customer visits, moving beyond traditional presentation books and disparate systems like SAP CRM and Excel, to enable a more professional and efficient sales consultation.

The solution was a custom Windows tablet app built with Spryker Commerce OS, fully integrated with Hero's SAP ERP and CRM. Valantic used Contextual Inquiry to design an app focused on high-resolution product imagery and streamlined ordering, allowing sales advisors to present products elegantly and place orders directly into the ERP in few steps. This integration eliminated manual data entry, saved time, and ensured data consistency across the new app and a parallel gastronomy website also powered by Spryker.
