Hero Gastronomique, the food service division of Hero Group, faced slow and fragmented sales processes. Manual price calculations in Excel and a limited, device-specific sales app hindered their internal and field teams. To overcome this, they partnered with digitalization vendor valantic.
Valantic implemented a scalable sales platform based on Pimcore, featuring two integrated applications. A web app for back-office price calculation and a modern, offline-capable sales app for field staff were developed, both connected to SAP. The solution achieved 75-80% time savings in price generation and enabled faster, more flexible customer advising with centrally maintained data.
