The Deutsches Zentrum für Schienenverkehrsforschung (DZSF) faced the challenge of adapting rail and road transport infrastructure regulations to mitigate the increasing risks posed by climate change, such as extreme weather and rising temperatures. To address this, they commissioned valantic to develop a strategy using its consulting and analytical services.

valantic's solution involved a three-phase approach: conducting comprehensive literature research, performing a detailed regulatory analysis, and formulating an implementation strategy. The project, which is expected to be completed in Q4/2025, will result in a strategy paper and a final report providing well-founded recommendations to future-proof the infrastructure regulations.
