Bühler, a global provider of innovative processing solutions, faced challenges due to a lack of centralized and structured maintenance master data, which slowed down the creation of its service agreements and increased process complexity. To address this, Bühler partnered with valantic to automate the interface between its global product data management system (gPDM) and SAP S/4HANA.

valantic implemented a solution that integrated the two systems, enabling the automated and structured transfer of maintenance data from design into operational service processes. This integration streamlined the creation of Bühler Service Agreements, improved maintenance planning, and provided technicians with digital checklists. The project successfully went live, providing a foundation to support Bühler's growing service business and its goal of integrating its entire machine portfolio by 2027.
