Bosch unifies B2C and B2B commerce on one platform with Valantic

Valantic collaborated with Bosch, an Austrian provider of heating and air conditioning technology, to modernize a highly customized but aging commerce system. The challenge was to transform this decade-old platform into a future-ready solution without disrupting operations. The goal was to merge separate B2C and B2B sites, update the technology stack, and improve the user experience while preserving existing user accounts and business processes.

The solution involved building a central platform using Pimcore 11, featuring a unified product overview, a flexible CMS, and a tailored cockpit for employees and customers. Valantic successfully migrated the system, integrating an offline data finder and establishing role-based access for B2B and B2C users. The results included significant UX improvements, 100% adoption by customers and employees, and a scalable architecture that provides a strong foundation for Bosch's future digital growth.
