SKPAY launches a prepaid card wallet in less than 6 months with Vacuumlabs

Vacuumlabs partnered with SKPAY to launch a prepaid contactless card and digital wallet. The challenge was to create a solution for the underbanked market that did not require a bank account, allowing users to pay with cash and withdraw from ATMs.

The solution was built using React, React Native, and Node.js on an AWS backend with a PCI-DSS compliant card processor. Vacuumlabs delivered the complete product, which included a multi-platform wallet for desktop, iOS, and Android, in less than six months from project kickoff. This shared codebase allowed for rapid development and deployment, getting the card into customers' hands quickly.
