VTrips, a vacation rental property manager with more than 2,600 properties, needed help distributing inventory on Expedia. The company had tried to manage the channel itself and worked with four previous distribution partners, but the process was too manual and time-consuming, with problems around payment processing, tax and fee calculation, and limited bookings. VacayHome Connect was brought in to help solve these distribution challenges.

VacayHome Connect built a distribution solution tailored to VTrips’ booking rules and channel complexities, taking over much of the manual work and improving listing quality and visibility. Results began on day one, with bookings flowing in at levels VTrips had not seen before, generating incremental revenue without additional staffing. VTrips also saw higher-value bookings with longer average stays, including many reservations of 7 to 30 days instead of the expected 2 to 3 nights.
