United Pacific Pet (UPP), a multi-line pet products distributor representing over fifty manufacturers and supported by six outside and ten inside sales reps, faced inefficient, paper-based sales order transactions and rapidly changing manufacturer promotions that caused delays and pricing confusion. To address this, UPP chose vablet™’s content management solution for sales and product management on iPad, aiming to centralize marketing materials, product/program information, pricing sheets and special promotion order forms.

vablet™ implemented a centralized file distribution and retrieval system that pushed up-to-date collateral and pricing to reps’ iPads (with offline access and high-resolution media) and allowed remote removal of outdated files. Rolled out at a September 2011 trade show, the vablet™ solution eliminated paper clutter, sped transaction processing, ensured current pricing at the point of sale, and delivered a favorable ROI — increasing productivity, reducing printing and emails, and giving UPP’s sales teams instant access to demos and customer materials.
