A V7 Case Study
CattleEye, an AI-first cattle monitoring company, needed a better way to manage large volumes of video data and speed up the creation of AI models for livestock health monitoring. Using V7 Darwin, they aimed to move away from manual, fragmented workflows and improve how they annotate and organize cattle behavior data for detecting health issues and anomalies.
With V7’s video annotation and dataset management tools, CattleEye used bounding boxes, keypoint skeletons, and the API to automate uploads and centralize data management. The result was a 10x increase in model development speed, faster and more remote video scoring, and reduced disruption to cows and busy vets, while also improving data quality and making new algorithm development easier.
