Omnicare Clinical Research, the global clinical research subsidiary of Omnicare, faced fragmented time and expense tracking across three different systems that undermined global project visibility, staff utilisation and accurate client billing. To address this, Omnicare selected V1 Limited’s V1 PSA (Professional Services Automation) software to replace the disparate time-recording products and provide a single, web-based time and expense solution.

V1 Limited implemented V1 PSA as a central, multi-currency database with Time & Expense and Project Repository modules, integrated with back-office financial systems and migrated reporting to Actuate. Deployed to 1,200 staff in about nine months, the solution delivered real-time, tailored reporting, improved ability to track time and cost by project, analyse utilisation and manage revenue recognition, and reduced the time spent tracking billable expenses and reviewing timesheets.
