Hubron, a Manchester-based group manufacturing and distributing plastics and pharmaceutical products, needed to tighten quality-control processes, meet strict regulatory documentation requirements and reduce document-related costs. After a recommendation from its Sage reseller, Hubron implemented document management and imaging systems from V1 Limited, including electronic form design, automated delivery and an electronic archive tightly integrated with Sage.

V1 Limited integrated those systems with Hubron’s accounting and LabVantage systems to scan and store over 24,000 documents a year, automatically retrieve and send certificates of analysis/conformity, and electronically deliver over 95% of outgoing documents. The automation freed staff time, eliminated paper stationery and postage, and is saving Hubron £25,000 annually (with a further £15,000 projected), while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
