Amethyst Group, a leading provider of warehousing and distribution services, needed to centralise and streamline its purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes, eliminate paper-based workflows and ensure seamless integration with its SunSystems v5.3 accounting system. To address this challenge it selected V1 Limited and its document imaging and authorisation software.

V1 Limited implemented its software tightly integrated into SunSystems, centralising electronic invoice storage and automating invoice authorisation across locations. As a result, Amethyst now closes its accounts four days sooner, processes around 15,000 invoices a year more quickly, saved the equivalent of half a person’s time, eliminated third‑party archiving costs worth thousands of pounds, achieved a 100% invoice record and reduced supplier queries and late‑payment penalties.
