BENU, a leading European pharmacy chain with 1,400 stores (340+ in Serbia), faced limited insights from an outdated footfall counting system that relied on Excel and could not reveal customer behavior or key performance indicators across its stores. To increase visitor traffic, optimize in-store operations and improve service quality, BENU contracted V-Count to provide modern visitor analytics and retail management tools.

V-Count implemented People Counting, Heatmap technology and a cloud-based Business Intelligence Platform to track footfall, conversion, draw-in rate and staff-customer ratios across 27 pharmacies, and to automate staff scheduling. The solution helped BENU increase sales by over 15% in several pharmacies in one month, boost conversion rates by more than 20% in those stores, raise Draw-in-Rate by about 4%, and improve marketing measurement, product placement and staffing decisions.
