Housing.com, India’s leading online real estate platform, wanted better ways to collect unbiased user feedback and understand how people actually used its app. As the product team grew features at scale, the lack of qualitative insights made it difficult to validate ideas, test hypotheses, and identify what was causing low adoption in the user experience. UXCam provided mobile experience analytics, including session recordings, event analytics, and heatmaps.
Using UXCam, Housing.com reviewed dozens of user sessions each day and uncovered a key issue in its in-app search experience: users struggled to add multiple locations and wanted to search across cities more easily. The team redesigned the search bar to support multiple locations, then used UXCam heatmaps and recordings to validate the new design. As a result, feature adoption increased from 20% to 40% of the user base, delivering a 20% improvement in overall feature adoption.
