Korero launches a 3-month AI accessibility app with UX studio

UX studio partnered with Korero, an AI-powered communication sidekick concept, to address the challenge of bridging the communication gap between hearing and hearing-impaired individuals. The goal was to develop an inclusive solution that simplifies administrative discourse for users with varying hearing abilities, moving beyond the need for sign language interpreters.

The solution implemented by UX studio was the Korero mobile app, which features AI-assisted live transcription, multiple input methods including voice and sign language recognition, and an introductory card system to set expectations. The project resulted in a fully designed product with 11 iterations, 7 primary user flows, and 3 key features, successfully creating a new tool to facilitate more accessible communication.
