The Arkansas Razorbacks Increase Site Revenue

The University of Arkansas Athletics (the Arkansas Razorbacks), which fields 19 NCAA Division I teams in the SEC, faced a challenge: a dated, externally managed website that made it hard to engage digital fans or demonstrate ROI to sponsors. Broadcast Services spent too much time on technical video publishing, relied on YouTube and third parties for mobile delivery, and couldn’t easily direct fans to their own site.

They rebuilt a video-first site using uStudio integrated with WordPress, streamlining publishing and adding an infinite-scroll video wall, pre/mid/post-roll ads, and interactive players to boost engagement and monetization. The update drove a 46% increase in site traffic, a 33% rise in video views, 30% more time spent watching videos, and more than a 10% lift in advertising and licensing revenue.
